multiple user profiles error 1706

jfiess

Hello, feel like a knuckle head asking this (am an MCSE and should know) -
what is the best way to install office xp when you plan to have multiple
users using the machine. Office wants to run for each new user and then you
have the issue of access to the setup files. I have mucked around a bit
with copying profiles but so far I am still looking for the best way.
Thanks,
jfiess

Hello
I've the same problem... with Win2003 server and roaming profiles.
When a user logs into a client and run Word (for example) it warns
three times about ERROR 1706...
I found some papers about it but no way to solve it...
thanks!
