Suppose I was trying to install MS Office on 1 machine, two versions, say 98
and 2003. What issues do I have to contend with?

Office 2003 is a Windows version, and Office 98 is a Mac version.
Do you have a PC or a Mac (or do you not know the difference)?
A PC cannot not run a Mac version of Office, but a Mac can run
a Windows version of Office if you have VirtualPC installed on
the Mac. See http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=828956
"Information about running multiple versions of Office with
Office 2003".

You're right... it's Publisher 98 that we're dealing with... Aha. Thank you
for pointing that out.
