Multiple views?

Other than using two computers, is there a way to direct different windows to
more than one monitor? I would like to present a slide show in the normal
full-screen mode, but simultaneously view both the slides and my notes at the
lectern.

Use the dual monitor capability in Windows. From the Control Panel select
Display and under Settings activate both of your monitors and set it to "Extend
my Windows desktop onto this monitor". In your case the secondary monitor may
be the projector. See:

Not so sure that this may help, but, you could do this:

- first make sure your second monitor or projector or tv is plugged in.
Then do as Sonia said, extend your desktop background onto your second
monitor, tv or projector. Just go to control panel, then display, then click
on appearance, then select monitor 2 from the dropdown menu, then tick the
box 'extend my desktop background onto this monitor.

- then once you have done this go into PowerPoint, click on 'slide show' (at
the top) then click 'set up show'. on the 'Multiple monitors' section from
the drop down menu select 'monitor 2' (this may appear differently on your
pc), then click 'show presenter view'.

-Now play your slide show. See what happens!

I do hope that this helps. Reply saying how you got on.
