Music in Powerpoint 2002

Hi

Anyone able to help with this?

I am preparing a presentation in Powerpoint 2002, and
want to embed or link a WMA file. I've tried this two
ways:

insert/movies and sounds/sound from file/[navigate
to .wav file]/[yes to play automatically when slide
appears]

or

insert/object/[navigate to file, and insert]

Either way my files won't play...though the
preinstalled .wav files in the Clip Organiser do! My
files play OK when I go directly to them (ie, when I play
without trying to do so from within Powerpoint).

My guess is that your MCI settings in the registry need to be tweaked.
