Music in presentation

I have a Power Point presentation that I have used already but wanted to add music to it. I added sound from a file and it added the sound just fine but then my slides wouldn't advance automatically like they did before. If I click to advance by mouse click, the sound stops all together. What am I doing wrong? How can I have sound play and also have my slides advance automatically?
Thanks!

The answer you seek is easy to find since it is in the PPT FAQ :). Check it

Play sounds across multiple slides (A WAV runs through it)

if we live without making a difference, it makes no difference that we lived
