Music throughout

I'm not that great with ppt, but have a presentation that I need a mp3
file to play throughout the presentation. I can get it to play on a
single slide, but then it will not go to the next slide. The next
slide will not come up until the song is over. I can also insert on
multiple slides, but all that does is start the song over and you still
have to click for next slide. any ideas?
