Must Finish On dates are overridden when inserting a subproject

When inserting a sub-project into a master project, tasks which have Must
Finish On (MFO) are overridden, and their Finish Date changed.
Is it possible to prevent this, so that the master project honors MFO
constraints in sub-projects?

Never seen it, but do check in your master
Tools, Options, Schedule, "Tasks will always honor their consytraint dates".
That is probably Off.
