my action setting button is not available to use.

I need to link 2 presentations, one protriat and the other landscape and my
action settings is not highlighted and will not let me click on it. Help I
need this done today

Is the object you want to hyperlink a grouped object?
If so, click on it once, then click again so that the white dots turned to
grey(with 'x' inside), then right click and click action setting.

Alternately, you can add a rectangle that covers the grouped object, then
right click on the rectangle and click format autoshape. Set it to no fill
and no line to make it invisible. Now, right click and set the action setting
on the rectangle.
