My color graphic appears as black and white, how do I change it?

I create a document in publisher using Word Art, the image appears in normal
view black and white, when I print the document, or print preview, it does
pick up the correct colors. When creating the document, how can I create it
and it shows the true colors?

Are you sure you have a color printer set up as the default printer?
