My Excel Spreadsheet now has numbers on both axes - why?

I was sent a spreadsheet where the Y axis now has numbers rather than
letters, and the X axis is still numeric. How do I reset to alpha-numeric?

Menu Tools>Options and go to the General tab, and then check the R1C1 Style
checkbox
