My Key Code Doesn't Work

I bought my new computer about 6 moths ago and never got around to activating
my Microsoft Packages. I'm now trying to activate them and the Key Code I
have on my PC and the CD is coming up as incorrect. Is there a time limit on
Key Codes? I'm typing it in accurately but it still coming up "You have not
entered a valid Product Key"

Check for multiple versions of Office installations..If there are remove the
program which is not part of the suite you have purchased or installed like a
trial version.
Then try to access the Office programs.
