my mail server wont work

I configured my server for POP3/SMTP,,,I cant send or recieve mail...I used a
username/password for the Outlook and its the same for my POP3. I think I
need help with authenticating it. I thought the username/password is how I
did that. Its saying SMTP error 550, and no security,,,HELP,,,,,thanks

Have you asked your ISP to check the settings with you?

Try posting this in an Outlook Express news group - this is not one of them.
Outlook is a part of Microsoft Office and is what this group supports.
Outlook Express is a part of Internet Explorer and has its own news groups.
