My picture as a slide design.

How do I get one of my picture as the slide design. The picture is saved in jpeg

You can either apply that as a background or include it within the template
itself. Look here for more info:

You also save it as a design template.
After you have "what ever image you want" on the slide. Go to File > Save
As. Enter a unique name in the "File Name" and be SURE to click the "Save as
type" drop down box an select Design Template. This will put that image in
your design template file, and save this as your default background.
