My pictures only appear on the thumbnails on the side...

I was trying to follow directions for a program used to help transfer
powerpoint shows onto DVDs....and it asked me to reduce the resolution of the
screen. After doing it, not liking the outcome, and switching back, I noticed
powerpoint no longer displays anything correctly when looking at an
individual slide. The thumbnails on the side look fine, but I cannot see
anything on the large slide. It's as if it has no graphics at all....it won't
let me choose backgrounds or anything! Help

Tiffany,
What happens if you set your screen resolution to normal in Windows? Right
click your desktop, choose properties, settings tab, set your resolution to
whatever you want using the slider, OK out.
Start PPT again.

Tiffany,
Also, have you tried using the zoom, click on the listarrow next to the
zoom, use the last item should be called customize or fit to window or
something like that.
