My screen in Publisher 2000 is tinted yellow, publication,

A document I started some time ago in Publisher 2000 now appears on a tinted
yellow screen. This covers the document and the scratch area also. Why is it
not white any more? What have I done and how do I get back to white?
Will it affect what goes to the printer?
