My Tasks page really slow

Hi all,

Our users here use the My Tasks page from the EPM 2007 environment
frequently. But for several users this page is really slow to open, it takes
about 30 seconds only to show the tasks.

Does anyone have this problem too?

Our EPM environment: both Project and SharePoint Servers are 2007 with the
latests service packs and run on the same Hyper-V virtual machine (2x virtual
processors and 4 Gb RAM). The database runs on a dedicated physical SQL
Server. All desktops are Windows XP with 1~2 Gb RAM and IE 7

What is different about these users? Are their tasks assignment particularly
plentiful? Could they be on a slow segment of your network? Could their
machines be less powerful than the others? There's no single answer to a
question like this.

Hello,

I had similar problem with our MS Project Server 2007 installation. The
solution was very simple: retyping serial number (!). You can do that
througth:
Central Administration > Operations > Convert License Type.

I don't know why but now PWA works much faster.
