My Template is not working properly

OK...I have designed my template for our business and everything looks great,
BUT, when I create a new text box and insert a bullet from the taskbar, the
bullet is of a different color than what I used in the master slide of the
template and the automatic spacing is not present either. The crazy thing is
that when I insert a new slide, the automatic text box has the correct color
bullet in it and the correct spacing.

Does anyone know what I can do to alleviate this problem? I have a limited
time frame to edit these documents and changing the bullet color to the
company standards takes WAY too much time.

Brian,
You are quite right the formatting of bullets in your template (master) only
applies to the Slide layouts with placeholders.
If you want text boxes to have the same formatting, draw a textbox format it
with the bullet style you want, rightclick on it an choose set AutoShape
default. Then save your template. That should do it.
