<< That does not work 1) the name in cell B1 comes to up
tuching the b in Job "ie A Good JobMike" >>
Please note that the formula suggested to you
=IF(C1>89,"A Good Job " & B1)
has a SPACE between the word "Job" and the closing quotation mark.
suggest you check the formula that you wrote and make sure that th
SPACE exists. This will make "A Good JobMike" appear as "A Good Jo
Mike."
<< and 2) the name are in know order so I would like to just say "if B
is
mike, then Mike, If B1 is bob, then Bob If B1 is Joe,
Then Joe....." >>
The formula will automatically substitute any name that you have i
Cell B1. So, if your name on B1 is "Bob" then your formula will giv
you
"A Good Job Bob"
Similarly, if Cell B1 contains "Mike" then your formula will give you
"A Good Job Mike"

Hi Jason
=IF(C1>89,"A Good Job " & B1)

I am useing an "IF" to get grades, and adding words. [IE
=IF(C1>89,"A Good Job")] how can I add a IF name to this
[IE =IF (c1>89,"A Good Job" If B1=Mike,Joe Bob)] so for
Mike's Grade it will say " A good job Mike" and for Bob's
it will say "A good Job Bob" and so no?
