name on e-mail sent

When I send an e-mail message, it comes up on the other
persons computer as "Unknown". Why does my name not
appear as the sender?

Is there any text in the Name field in your e-mail account configuration
(for the e-mail account getting used when sending your e-mails)? Do you
have any ISO, Unicode, or upper ASCII characters in your Name? Is it
just this one recipient that has a problem, or everyone that receives
your e-mail sees your name as "Unknown"?
