Navigating through slides by only hyperlinks/action buttons

I am creating a presentation to eventually be distributed via CD, it will
begin with slides transitioning by timing, then go to like a home page with
hyperlinks to a variety of other slides within the same presentation, each
has navigation buttons to view with and each navigates correctly (I have the
transition by click and time turned off)

My problem is, I have a scroll device on my mouse that will transition the
slides without using the action buttons, which I am sure others have the same
scroll capability, although they will not transition by right clicking as set
up

Is there a way to have the slides transition only by the action buttons?

Have you tried "Slide Show", "Set up show", click the "Browsed at a KIOSK"
option?

Glad it worked. Keep in mind that depending on version of PowerPoint you
have, a presentation set up to be "Browsed at a KIOSK" will transition back
to the first slide after 5 minutes of inactivity (sort of like at a trade
show, etc.)
