Navigation bar problems

Hello,

I shall have to tell you a story to explain my problem :-

Prepared a website http://www.simulations-4-u.com and got it working,
Frontpage extensions etc (Frontpage 2000/ Windows ME ) and fairly happy. A
little later though I tried to do some modifications and my version on my pc
went belly up.
No matter how often I recalculate hyperlinks, edit properties of navigation
bars, or check out the shared on all pages, top, bottom or left borders I
cannot get the navigation text or buttons to display - to navigate round the
site.

I have tried The office professional healing, uninstalling, reinstalling
route to no effect.
I imported the same web and it still failed and the final thing which really
confounds me is that navigation does work if I create a simple new web - can
anyone help me?.

One other thing - how do I disable the new page on opening web facility?.

Based on http://www.simulations-4-u.com/_vti_inf.html your online site has the FP SE

Do Not Import
- Publish from Remote (your online site) to your Local (your PC disc based site)

File Open Web and enter your online site URL as:
http://www.simulations-4-u.com/
, and log in
Then Use File Publish Site (All Pages) and browse to the location of your local disc based web

For the No new page try the Jimco Addin from http://www.jimcoaddins.com/
