Hi there,

I'm trying to another layer of links to the menu tree, e.g.

I understand from previous thread that this functionality is not offered in
Publisher. However, would you have some standard HTML code (and
instructions) that I could use that would allow me to do this, as someone who
does not know HTML? I've got so far with my website and everything has just
grind to a halt.

Many thanks.

a) The group for web queries is microsoft.public.publisher.webdesign
b) Whilst there is no "automagic" functionality to this effect, you
could manually create elements that do it
c) There is no standard HTML that I know of that will automagically do
this (so it'd be easier to manually create it in Publisher's interface
than create it in a text editor)
d) Publisher's HTML code is a PITA to edit in a text editor (see bracked
point in (c) )
e) Considering all the above points, it's probably easier if you use a
real webdesign tool rather than a DTP application to create your website.

There is no way to alter the wizard built navbar in Publisher. You can add
the pages and links to the menu, but if you are looking for DHTML menus...or
"flyout" menus, you will probably use a javascript based menu, not the
Publisher navbar. Google for those terms. There is all kinds of free code
out there. Use the Insert HTML code fragment tool in Publisher to test.

Please post any follow up questions or other web related questions in the
web group, and we will try to help you there.
