Need a non-working day report from Project

W

Warren Hilton

We use a grouped resource pool for all our company projects. To record Leave
we set that persons leave period to 'non-working' time. To get back this
information for all resources we need a report / table / view that tells us
when this Leave has been entered.
Can anyone please help ?
Cheers.

Warren,
When you say you set the resources leave period to "non-working" time I
assume you mean you develop a custom resource calendar for each person.
And, if I understand your request, you would basically like to see a
report of leave time for all resources, correct?

Data that Project produces is generally focused on resource
availability, not their non-availability. I know of no report or view
that will give resource "off" time. However, with a little VBA this
information can certainly be set up in report form.

Hope this helps.

Warren,

I have a VBA macro that just exactly this, but goes farther in that it
extracts the information to Excel, formats it, and opens an Outlook
message with the report attached, addressed to all the resources in the
report. If you would be interested in this macro, please email me at
kikos AT nationwide DOT com.

Hi,

On my website there is (within an article on MSP) a macro turning
non-working days into fixed date tasks.

Hi Sarah,

I saw your following post on Microsoft discussion forum. I want to generate
a similar report, which tells me the non-working time of my enterprise
resources. Can you please share this Macro with me?

Thanks and Regards,
Manish
