Need first word in a sentence capped after previous sentence endi.

After a date, "2/3/2005. we" I would like to have the first word in the next
sentence to automatically capitalize. Is that possible.?

I am a med trascriptionist and also "age-year old" I type 23yo and it will
not automatically go to 23-year old. I have to space to have that happen
then it is not correct.
