Need Help! Can't see messages and sending blank ones!

Sorry if this is a repeat of a previous request, but I was away from my
computer for a number of days and would have missed any reply.

My problem is that sometimes a message arrives that has a blank message
body. Also, if I send or forward on a message that has some body text, then
it arrives as having a blank message body. Very confusing!

Can anybody help?

I am using Windows XP and Outlook 2002.
