I am using excel spreadsheet to manage the output of product for a window company. I would like to be able to assign jobs by area code in the worksheet. Is there a way to have select fields set to recognize area codes

Recognize? In what way? If you have a column that contains area codes, and
want to see only those records from a particular area code, try
Data-->Autofilter...

I suppose a rephrasing of the question is in order. I am not even sure if excel can handle this but here is the question rephrased. I want an installer to do a certain area codes all the time. Is excel capabile of letting only (i.e. 562,626) certain area codes be allowed for an installer and deny any area code not specified.
