need help setting new message options

Everytime I click on new message it opens in webview.
I need to default this setting to normal view.
I have searched all the knowledge bases, but just can't
seem to find an answer. I have tried going thru the
tools/options route also.
I am using Word 2000 in Outlook 2000 and Win xp.

This problem just recently started.
Any help would be appreciated.

Try opening Word, setting the view to normal, then closing Word and saving
changes to the Normal.dot file if you're prompted.

Change your format back to Plain Text instead of HTML
In Outlook;
Tools-> Options-> tab Format
