Need to Cascade Multiple Drop-down Lists

Hi,

I'm hoping someone can help me. I am not a programmer and am just learning
to use Infopath 2007.

In my form, which is web-enabled (which limits my options), I have 2
drop-down lists. List1 is a list of schools. List2 is the same list of
schools. Both get their data from the same SharePoint 2007 list.

What I want to do is have the user select one school from List1 and another
school from List2 and then have those 2 schools appear as the only choices in
another drop-down list.

I can cascade the selection from List1 into the new drop-down but is it
possible to cascade the selection from both List1 and List2 into the new
drop-down list?

If you search on cascading there are many blogs and posts. I think you
should be able to do what you want.

Thank you for your reply. I have looked through the info on infopathdev.com
and yes, there are many blogs and posts related to cascading. Unfortunately,
there are no blogs or posts that explain how to accomplish what I need. At
this point, it appears to be a limitation of Infopath but I thought I would
ask the question just to be sure someone else has not found a way to do it.

Your scenario is certainly possible, but I don't think you can do this
without writing code, Russ. I wrote an article to programmatically fill a
drop-down list box - this is one of many ways to do this - but I will admit
that the solution is pretty advanced for a beginner. But if you're
