Need to convert FP site to subwebs

Hello,

I just ran into a major problem with my FP site hosted on
earthlink. I was recently told that I must keep my files
to a maximum of 250 and if I go above this number I would
run into server timeout uploading errors. This of course
was told to me when I started running into problems.

I have about 1200 files on my site and need to convert to
subwebs. My problem is that when I make folders and
attempt to convert, all linking information is lost.

Does anyone have a suggestion as to how I can convert my
web to accomodate my need to include subwebs? Please let
me know. I had to strip my site down signifigantly to
get it running.

You shouldn't be losing links between pages when you convert folders to webs
- as long as the links are relative - not absolute
You will lose all web components (navigation view, shared borders, themes, etc) which will have to be recreated in each subweb
