Need to increase the # of characters in a footer in Project.

KH

I need to fit a 3 sentence ITAR footer in my Project file, and Project isn't
allowing more than a specific number of words or characters. Anyone out
there find a way to increase the number of characters that the footer can
handle? Thanks!

Dear Microsoft Office Project user,

Your requirement is to have three sentence footer in the printed project
schedule.

Please follow the below steps.
1. Open the schedule and change to appropriate view
2. Choose File > Page Setup
3. Select Footer tab and provide the three sentences in the text area
provided "Alignment" tab; Once you have provided the first sentence, press
the Enter key and provide the second sentence of the footer to proceed.

I don't see any restriction in the number of characters / words in the
footer; it anyway depends on the size of the page layout.

Please let us know if this helps.

Regards
Sai [PMP]

Tried this already - it doesn't take all the information. I copied and
pasted each sentence separately, and it still cuts off the beginning of the
third sentence, which leads me to believe that the footer only has a limited
number of characters available. I was looking for a way to increase the
number of allowable characters. thanks for your response, however!

Dear Microsoft Office Project user,

Can you please share the sentences used in the three lines, so that we can
look at it?

Here it is --

I tried to break it into 3 sentences. Can't abbreviate too much with this
or change the wording.

Thanks for your help!

Dear Microsoft Office Project user,

Since, there is a restriction on the number of characters in the footer /
header, I suggest you save the content as an image and use the Insert Picture
option in Footer to insert the footer.

Please let us know if this helps.

Thanks for your help! Had to use both the center and right footers to get
it all in - it looks a little funky, but it's all there. - KH
