MS Project Server 2007 - new instal
Two questions:

Is there a sight that has what the default settings for server install out
of the box were?

I need to allow all users to view all projects.
BUT
Only edit projects within MS Project Pro or Project Center if they are the
owner or status manager.

I have gotten the settings so that within Project Center a user can view all
projects (not details - which is fine).
If they are owner or status manager they can see all their details.

The obstacle is that if they are a project pro user they can still access
any project they can see in Project Center.

I wish there was a plain worded security feature that let you allow / deny
EDIT rights. :)

Thanks in Advance

Some good news..

I have figured out my security settings to setup my users the way I want them.

I would like to see what the default out of the box settings were for 2007.
The Technet listing showed me category defaults, but not group setting
defaults. Of course maybe I was looking in the wrong place.

Thanks again!

For some companies this may be a quick solution. That would involve me get
work authorization from several teams and getting their work approved. :)

Is there a site that shows the default settings out of the box for PWA
Permissions, default groups and default categories?

Thanks!

Found the answer in another post here. Thanks...

I have the 2007 Implementing and Administering book so will review it there.

Sorry to bog this thread down with my questions. :)
