Network Issues?

Hi,

I'm using outlook xp in my office and whenever I attempt
to send an e-mail a message box appears saying "Outlook
is retriveing data from the microsoft exchange server".
The message usually sends but it can take half an hour to
send a two line message and attachements just won't go at
all.

Can any of you guys help with this issue as it's really
starting to bug me?
