Never installed Office 2003 Standard bought 1 yr ago.

Hope you can answer or give me a phone number to call to find out following:

About a year ago I ordered online -- and received the disk but never
installed -- Office 2003 Standard. I had attempted to download a full
version from a new HP PC (it came preloaded with a trial Office 2003) but the
download did not include the Office Tools I needed right away (imaging and
scanner capability). So, although I ordered online, I also went out and
bought a retail copy of Office Pro. After that (about 90% sure) I believe I
canceled the MS online transaction, which I would guess voided the product
key.

I now want to try to install the copy (on another PC) I received way back
then, but don't know if the key will still work. If not, will the
registration or install sequence allow me to pay for a new license to
complete the installation? I actually still feel a little aggravated at the
hassles involved a year ago.

Thanks

I'm confused,
You purchased and received Office2003 std cd, but did'nt install
You then downloaded - by that I take it to mean via the internet - what?
(Only the trial version of office2003 is available online.)
You say however that a *trial version* of Office2003 was preloaded on your
HP pc

So what are you talking about?

Your post is a bit confusing. A CD Key that you get with a purchase of any Office product will always be good for that product . It will not expire.
