New Deployment

Hi,

We're look to deploy Office Project Pro 2007 in conjunction with Project
Server 2007 onto about 30 machines. However, the Office installation on the
client PCs is currently Office XP (2002) and there are no plans to change
this (until next year anyway).

Can anyone tell me what functionality we will loose by not upgrading the
client versions of Office to a more recent release? The deployment is planned
to be used for training and collaboration on single/multiple projects.

Many thanks for any help.

Steve

Outlook com addin needs Outlook 2003 or later

Visual reports need Visio 2007 Pro and Excel 2003 or later

Obviously you need Project Pro 2007 to connect to Server 2007.

You also need IE 6 or later.

If you do not intend to use Outlook addin or visual reports, you shouldn't
have any problems.

And don't forget XP SP2 too.
