We use Outlook 2003 with a POP3 server, no verification for SMTP.
When opening a .OFT template with background image and signature, after
hitting Send the mail stays stuck in the Outbox. Other messages are sent
fine... it does not matter whether they are after the template mail, they
get sent anyway. It only happens to a few of my users; whether they use Vista
or XP does not seem to matter. I have disabled antivirus, no difference.
In the Outlook log, the connection to the POP3 server is fine. It checks for
new mail to send/receive and ends the connection... so the issue is not with
the server but with the local computer. Any ideas?
