When I try to make experimental webs by using the "New From Existing Page"
function on the shortcut menu there is a problem. The problem is this: after
three pages are created (index.htm and two others) there are unlinked pages
in the Site Summary and in Preview view. In the Design view, though,
everything looks fine. With just three pages, there are absolutely no
problems anywhere.
I used three ways of modifing an existing page and then saving it under a
new name. After three pages, it's always the same problem. The method I like
best is described in Jim Buyens "FrontPage 2003, Inside Out" (an excellent
book): "Right click the existing file in the Folders view and then choose New
From Existing Page on the shortcut menu." Then of course you change the file
name when you save the page.
If I were doing something wrong, I would see an error in the first three
pages. The problems always appears (after 10 attempts with experimental
websites) in pages four and beyond.
