New Pub is not backward compatable?

I have the newsest version of pub installed now my old pub files are useless.
What can I do to convert them? When I saved the files as an RTF the
formatting is trashed. Why am I unable to OPEN my old pub files with the
new Publisher

Do you have Norton? Disable "script blocking" and in Norton options, misc. disable
Office Plug-ins as well.

What do you mean: "When I saved the files as an RTF the formatting is trashed"...in most cases it would be if you're saving a pub files as rtf.

In addition to Mary's reply, Publisher 2003 cannot open Publisher 1.0 files
(and it can hiccup on some Publisher 2.0 files). Just an FYI incase you
actually were using a REALLLLLY OLD version
