Newly created Enterprise Project Fields do not appear correctly in

L

Hi.
I created a set of Custom Enterprise Project Fields. These are graphical
indicators of several project EPM data quality indicators I want to check.

They work fine in project professional 2003.

When I added them to a new view in PWA they do not appear correctly. It does
not appears the name of the custom field (ex. Status Date Ind) or the
Graphical indicator (green or red ball) but only the default field name (ex.
Enterprise Project Number 9) and a number zero!

I added the Enterprise Project Fields to a table in project professional and
opened an existing project. After publishing this project (Cllaborate >
Publish > All Information) the custom fields are already correctly shown on
PWA, but only for this project!!

Do I need to manually publish all projects in my organization to make mi
view work correctly?

Thanks

In the future, please post your Project Server 2003 questions in the
microsoft.public.project.server newsgroup, as this newsgroup is dedicated to
the Microsoft Project desktop application only. To answer your question,
your every one of your PMs must do the following:

1. Open each of their enterprise projects.
2. Press the F9 function key to recalculate the project manually (this
calculates the value in the custom field).
3. Save and publish the project using Collaborate - Publish - All
Information.

Hope this helps.

Thank you. I kmow that doing F9 and publishing will do the work. But that's
my point. I was trying to find and alternate way to do it for all projects.
My company has project server 2003 for a year now. Wehave a few hundreds of
projects, so you can see that might be a bit dificult. Thanks for the help
anyway.
