Newsletter images problem

Hi

I have created a simple email newsletter, in Word, with a banner image
at the top. The image comes from our web server by way of a link in the
newsletter. At home I have Outlook/Word 2000, and at Work I have
Outlook/Word 2003. I have created it in Word so that anyway can send a
newsletter without having to get into creating HTML documents etc. We
can all handle Word, but not much more than that! The intention is that
when the design is sorted out, Outlook/Word 2003 will always be used to
create the newsletters and then send them out.

Before starting to send the newsletter to various clients, I decided to
test it to make sure it works okay, particularly as clients will be
using different email programs.

When I email the newsletter from home to work (Outlook 2000 - 2003), it
arrives perfectly at the other end, and the banner image loads straight
away from the web server. However, when I email from work to home
(Outlook 2003 - 2000), the image appears as an attachment at the bottom
of the email. There is an outline of the image in the email. with a red
cross in the corner. As Word 2000 does not let me email the actual Word
document, other than as an attachment, I have pasted the newsletter into
the email, and it still arrives okay in my office.

To confuse me even more, when emailing it to myself (Outlook 2000 -
2000), the newsletter appears exactly as it should!

Any thoughts very gratefully received.

Dave
