No folders in shared mailboxes

I have 2 mailboxes that are shared to my logon. I can see
the mailboxes but no folders underneth, ie. inbox,
contacts, etc. is there a way to fix this problem?

How were the other mailboxes shared to you, was this done by the mailbox
owners or by the Exchange Administrator, can you list the procedure on how
the share was achieved
