No footer in printout

Jacques

I use window.print() to print a web page. But in the footer of the printout,
there is the URL address.
Is it possible to print without the page address (URL) in the footer? or to
print without footer?

I knew about that already. What I want is that, when the user click on my
"Print" button, that the page print without the address in the footer. It
would not depend on the settings in "Page setup" of the user.
I want to know if that's possible to do what I want.

You have no control over the user's browser, they would have to disable this feature.

No. It's not possible. Although you could visit each specific site that
would use this print feature and turn the footer off on their printer.
Sounds expensive....
