No sound for non powerPoint 2007 users

I have found that presentations sent to other users without PowerPoint 2007
are not able to hear sound. They also had the compatibility pack installed.
This happens regardless of whether I send the old file format or the new one.
Has anyone else experienced this problem?

What kind of sound file are you working with? If it's an MP3, it's not
included in the presentation and you have to send it, too. This is the same
in all versions of PPT.
