no sound when i play a recorded note in outlook 2007

I have recorded a note on a windows mobile pc. When i synchronise with
Outlook 2007 the note appears as a recording. The note plays but there is no
sound.This is important to me because I wish to record notes while driving
and then have an assistant enter the information into Outlook 2007.
