No Visual Basic Editor available, no macro

J

Jande

Hi,

I run outlook 2003 (office 2003 PRO under windows XP) for some time now and
everything worked well.
I had a macro to thread some emails.
Since a week, the macro button can not be activated. As so the VBA button
doesn't do anything.
If I go menu -> Tools --> Macro -->Macro
or --> Visual Basic editor
or --> Security:
none of those can be activated !!!
It is like everything under the "Macro" tab doesn't exist anymore. Microsoft
Script Editor also disappeared.
I desabled the macro (project), but nothing changes.
VBA is working well for the other office applications (Excel, word, ...).
I did a detect & repair 2x, deleted & reïnstallation outlook from within
office 2003 (setup), I did a re-installation of the complete office 2003.
Nothing helps: no macro, no security, no VBA.

Any idee what's the problem??

Thanks.

Jan

Try from Outlook:

1) Help> About Microsoft Outlook> Disabled Items>
2) Enable

That should do it.
