"None of your email accounts could send to this recipient"

Hi,

I have user who has set up a distribution list in his outlook contacts with
10 or so external email accounts. When they try to send to this email account
they get an underliverable return message saying that:

"None of your email accounts could send to this recipient"

The user's account is an Exchange Server account and we are using Outlook
2003. Is anyone able to shed any light on this one for me?

Regards

I would wager that one of the contacts has a FAX address and, since the Contacts
get listed once for each address, the user created it with the FAX address
rather than the EMAIL address.

Open up the DL and look at the email column. if it's @f:####..., they grabbed
a fax address rather than the email.
