not printing due to ink refill

OK, I am probably in the wrong newsgroup. But maybe you can kindly direct me
to one that you think will be suitable.Or perhaps help me. I have a Lexmark
3100 all in one printer. I bought one of those refill do it yourself kits>it
was easy to fill (black '50' cartridge)but now I am having problems with
printing. I had filled this cartridge before and had problems at first, but
then after printing a few blk/white things, all was well. ALso, I dont
beleive I overfilled it because it did not bubble by the hole. but ink is
strong in coming out as I lay it on the p-towel. It just wont print and I am
afraid to insert it in the printer if it is leaking some ink. Will the
printer get ruined if the little copper contacts on the printer get some ink
on it??? Yes, I may end up having to get new cartridges, but I beleive that
I did all the steps well in refilling. I also hear that lexmark is hard to
refill. BTW, i did seek customer support form Lexmark but as you know, they
strongly recomend against refilling (of course, they want u to buy their
cart. in the store)-
WIN XP home.
