notify envelope disappears

Hi,
This may not seem like a big deal but I have a user who
gets the notify envelope initially but it will disappear
if the user clicks to other folders or views within
Outlook-- even if the new inbox mail has not been read.
This doesn't happen to others on other pc's. Using Outlook
XP.

Had thought of that and the customize notification is
fine in XP...
I'll keep looking.
