Can somebody please tell me why when I copy a numbering style from another document into my current document and apply it, it works fine; but when I then go to the next numbered list (which as we all know will automatically renumber - though I can't figure out for the life of me why the stupid application would undo something that I must have done for a reason) and click the restart numbering button, the style reverts to the old one. I know it's foolish, and it's simply the way that it's coded, but it seems to be like a petulant child that says "I know you want it that way but I think it looks better this way!" How do I make things (especially this one) stay the way I put them?
