Numerous errors trying to open emails

OS: Windows 200 Pro
MS Office Xp standard

I have a user trying to open any email and they gets a
number of errors:

1. ERROR:

The operating system is not presently configured to run
this application
then get

2. ERROR:

This form requires Word as your e-mail editor, but Word
is either busy or cannot be found. The form will be opened
in the Outlook editor instead.

The user clicks "OK" and the email message opens.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciate it.
