Numerouse "Ghost" Tasks appearing

Hi,

I have a master plan with milestones that link to half a dozen inserted
projects. If I have external successores and predecessors checked under
tools>options>view, I often see several seemingly duplicate ghost tasks
within the different plans. Why might this be happening?

duplicate ghost tasks within the different plans. Why might this be
happening?

These tasks represent the predecessor or successor that is in one of
the other projects. They are there to let you know that there are tasks
in your project that have links to other projects.
